The Mystic Rose is a meditation which deeply penetrates the layers of mind using simple but extremely powerful techniques. The time commitment for the full experience, as designed by the recent master, Osho is 3 Hours a day for 3 weeks. I found it to be a profound experience, delivering a deep experience of the bliss in silent sitting meditation. For me, it was the first time I found the knack of "deliberately" being silent, not waiting or not-waiting for the silence to happen. Also, it showed me that the common therapist's view "there is so much shit in the subconscious that you will just be going on and on emptying it your whole life long" is wrong. There may be a lot of shit - but the Mystic Rose experience made it clear to me at least, that the work is finite. It may be tough, but there is an "end", and it's not unreachable. Volumes will I believe be written to describe the psychological and physical effects of this practice. Much of the current worldwide interest in laughter as a therapeutic aid follows the cultural impact this technique and its offshoots have made. Shorter introductory sessions are also a worthwhile experience. There's facilitator that we know of: Swami Rasada, trained and deeply practiced in this technique, has a web presence at www.cccc.co.za. |
